We want you to be completely happy with your order. Mind the Chap gladly accepts returns or exchanges on apparel, footwear, bags, sunglasses, hats, scarves, ties, belts, cufflinks, jewelry and other merchandise sold through its website unless otherwise stated on the product detail page. From time to time, some of these items will be labeled as “Sample Sale” or “Final Sale,” as specified on the detail page of the specific item, in which case these items may not be returned or exchanged. Exceptions may apply. Please note that personalized and monogrammed orders cannot be cancelled or returned. Gift cards cannot be returned.
A request to return or exchange an item must be made within 30 days of when the item(s) were shipped to you. Returned and exchange items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Returned or exchange items must include the Mind the Chap hang tag attached to the item. Used merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or damaged – see our Defective and Damaged Items section below. Returned and exchange items must be returned in their original packaging and in original condition, with all components, including but not limited to: hangers, polybags, hang tags on garments, shoe boxes, dust bags, cases and gift boxes. Please note that shoe boxes should also be protected when shipping as they are considered part of the product, and your return may not be accepted if the box is damaged.

To Request a Return or Exchange
Check the box to agree with our Return Policy. You will then receive an email containing your RMA number, which is valid for the next 14 days within which you can send your unwanted item(s) back to us.
Shipping Your Return or Exchange
For all Returns and Exchanges, please allow 7-10 days for processing once the item(s) are received at Mind the Chap. For more information, please contact Customer Support at email@example.com.
Returns will be refunded to you in the original form of payment. If the credit card used in connection with the purchase is expired or invalid, we will issue a check to the billing address on the credit card. If any promotional discount was applied at the time of purchase, you will be refunded for the actual amount paid at time of purchase.
Defective or Damaged Items
All items are quality controlled and checked for any defects before they are shipped to customers. However if you receive a defective or damaged item (as described below) please return the item to us.
Goods are classified as defective or damaged if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective or damaged.
If the return is due to an item being delivered damaged or an incorrect item being shipped to you, you will also be refunded for the original shipping charges you paid at the time the order was placed. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be replaced.
For all Defective or Damaged items please contact Customer Support to receive a Damages Form to include with the item as well as a prepaid shipping label to use to return the item.
If you want to return an item received as a gift, you must contact Customer Support and you will receive your refund in Mind the Chap store credit. The credit amount is automatically deducted from your next purchase and will be valid for one year. Please be aware that you may need to pay any cost difference, additional shipping and taxes.
All exchanges are based on stock availability. Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. However, if an alternative size is unavailable, we will refund your purchase including shipping. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.
Receiving a Refund
For all Returns and Exchanges, please allow 7-10 days for processing once the item(s) are received at Mind the Chap. Please note credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Other Important Information
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on Mind the Chap. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.
